Cleans and dries so much better than our previous dishwasher. The up-down adjustability of the middle rack is very handy and the wi-fi control is much handier than I expected. Very happy with my purchase and would absolutely recommend.

Our Bosch 500 series dishwasher has worked like a charm from the very first wash. It's so quiet that you can't tell it was running unless you look for the red wash light. The dishes come out clean and sparkling...and dry the first time, even plastics. My only suggestion is that there was "clean" indicator after the end of the cycle so my family doesn't try to load dirty dishes in with the clean ones.

I've heard much about Bosch dishwashers and finally bought one. I'm very glad I did. It cleans everything we put in it (using the preferred soap and rinse aid) no matter what is on or stuck to the dish. Simply wipe a plate or dish and put it in!

We have had several dishwashers by several manufacturers, including Miele. This is by far the best dishwasher we have ever had. It is whisper quiet and does a phenomenal job of cleaning the dirtest pots, pans and dishes. Love the top rack. Keep up the good work.

Not user friendly at all, including the app. One of washer arms fell off after one month. Dishes and inside door is wet after cycle is done. Compared to my previous Kitchen Aid which I had for 17 years, the quality of the machine is cheap, not solid. I would not recommend this dishwasher to friends/family at all.

We finally made the jump to a Bosch - something we've talked about for years - and I can honestly say it's one of the best upgrades we've ever made for our home. My wife is absolutely in heaven. The dishes come out cleaner than we've ever seen before, even the ones we used to pre‑scrub out of habit. Now we just load, start, and walk away.

We love our new Bosch dishwasher. We waited a loooong time before finally biting the bullet and buying a Bosch, but we are so delighted that we did. Our old dishwasher ran so loud and left a stench from the moisture being caught inside the dishwasher after a wash. But not with the Bosch it cleans like a champ and gets all the hard stuff off the dishes that sometimes we cannot scrub off ourselves prior and it pops the door open once the are cleaned and the dishes are dry when we put them away. Not to mention how quiet it is we hardly can remember that we are washing dishes. Thank you Bosch for an awesome product.

The dishwasher is very quiet, with additional zone washing for very dirty dishes. The wifi feature is fantastic, and it is nice to receive a message from the equipment indicating that washing is done, and that dishes can be put away. The three different racks (with some being adjustable) are very flexible, especially when you need to handle deep (soup) dishes. Great value and performance!

We are so happy with our new dishwasher! It has a handle on the front door for towels and a 3rd rack for sliver ware and cooking utensils. Also love the airdrying auto door opening. Which helps the drying of dishes. Best dishwasher ever bought

We replaced our previous dishwasher with this about a month ago. It cleans very well. I was skeptical about the wifi alerts, but it's actually super helpful to get a ping on my watch when it's done so I can unload. While I don't like 3rd trays for utensils, it seems to work well although it struggles with knives. I love the red dot on the floor when the machine is running - really helpful since it's so quiet and otherwise you don't know if it's running. I have 3 dings (1) it's really ackward to pour in the soap resulting in it usually getting it everywhere (2) the tines on the two main racks don't seem to fit standard bowels and mugs very well. I have to really pay attention to get them to fit. But my main complaint (3) pulling out the bottom tray almost always makes it come off the tracks. It drives me nuts. Esp when it's heavy and half filled. Overall, we're happy with the job it does, but these three user experience items could have been solved with a UX designer.

We have been very impressed with our new Bosch dishwasher. It is so convenient to set it from the app on our phones and customize many aspects of the wash. It has tremendous space inside and the moveable middle rack is handy. We are also enjoying the third/top rack more than we expected for baby/toddler dishes, large utensils, knives, and lids! The Auto Air has to be our favorite feature. We often run our dishwasher when we go to bed, so having it open automatically to air dry the dishes in a dry climate is perfect. The dishes are all dry by the morning. Highly recommend!

This is our second Bosch dishwasher. We selected the 500 series as we liked the Air Dry feature. This works great - we no longer have pooling of water on top of glasses, etc and it is so much more efficient!

This dishwasher is great, it cleans so well. I had dishes sit for 3 days with baked on food they came out clean. This dishwasher is so quiet you hardly know that its running. Dishes come out very dry. I highly recommend this dishwasher.

The Bosch 500 series dishwasher is a very quiet and very efficient dishwasher. I love the AutoAir feature that leaves my dishes dry every morning when we go to unload it at a fraction of the energy traditional dishwashers use. And I love the ability to put plastic items on the bottom rack due to no giant heating element melting them down there during the drying phase. The third rack for silverware is well designed and fits all of our adult sized silverware and child sized silverware without any issues.

This is my second Bosch appliance. These are excellent products! Well designed and with the usual attention to detail, engineering and construction. Why no maual? The newer, digital faceplates need instructions and guidance. Your agent was able to walk me through the maze of choices and combinations of directions. She was very helpful. But please, a printed manual would be helpful. Then I truly enjoy this fine piece of equipment!

I replaced my beloved Kitchen Aid with a Bosch, chosen because it has great revies for reliability in CR. As with most things, there's a period of adaptation but overall have no regrets. First and most importantly, the dishes are clean and it seems to get most of the difficult stuff (dried dog food) on the first try without much pre-rinsing. And if it does not konk out after 5 years, I will be happy. But there are a few ridiculous engineering oversights. I passed on a Bosch many years ago because the racking system is not well designed for a mixed load of plates and bowls. I can't put cereal or pasta or cat food, etc. bowls in the racks (tines too close) and when I set them along the sides or on the middle rack, the plates bump up against them, the dishwasher is full after one meal, and the bowls are not secure through the cycle. The silverware caddy is ridiculously small, does not have a separate open area for small non-utensil items such bottle stoppers, etc. And the start/etc. buttons are confusing. To choose your cycle, you must hit "Restart." (Why not "On" or "Select Cycle"? Ironically, there is a restart process but that button alone does not control it!) There is a "clean" light so you know when the dishes are clean -- mine does not work and judging from other reviews, nobody else has a working one either. (One reviewer said it goes on for 30 seconds following a cycle ---but we cannot see it because it is under the counter.) I can't easily tell whether the dishes are clean when I come down in the morning since by then, the light is off. I want one that stays on until I acknowledge it! The remote start has to be reset every single time you want to use it remotely (or perhaps I am doing it wrong, but no manual on this and the QR links do not adequately explain the use of remote start). And the dishwasher is either tightly latched, or it is open 3-4 inches and gets in my way. I keep it open to prevent mildew, and would greatly prefer if the door didn't jut out into the kitchen all the time, but there is no way to get it to sit open just a hair. The dishwasher works quietly, efficiently, and overall there is a lot I love about it. But I wish the engineers listened to consumers before they settled on this design because it could have been a GREAT dishwasher with a few inexpensive adjustments.

We recently installed a Bosch 500 Series dishwasher and it has exceeded expectations in every way. The cleaning performance is outstanding. Even heavily soiled dishes, baked on pans, and glasses come out spotless without needing to pre rinse. The wash cycles are efficient yet thorough and everything dries remarkably well.
It operates incredibly quietly, which is a huge upgrade from our previous dishwasher from another brand. You can barely tell it is running. The build quality feels solid and premium and the rack layout makes loading easy and organized.
So far, we have had zero issues. It runs consistently, cleans exceptionally well, and is a noticeable improvement over our last dishwasher. Overall, the Bosch 500 Series has been a fantastic upgrade and well worth it.

After just about a month, really disappointed in this purchase after having a model made around 2010 in our house for the past 15 years. While the interior is roomier and accomodates more dishes, it's an everyday occurrence to have dishes that come out with food residue. This maybe happened twice during the 15 years of our older Bosch. Your product should be getting better, not worse.

I have only done a few loads of dishes but so far so good. I wasn't sure I could handle the small silverware container. I haven't even used it with the 3rd rack. Surprisingly I really like the rack. I thought it would be more of a pain but it's not. Now hoping the racks don't rust out.

Cleans great. Love the 3rd drawer for the silverware. Downloaded the app but haven't really used it much. I would say I'm a basic user who doesn't necessarily need all the bells and whistles when it comes to a dishwasher. I just want a reliable one that does a great job and so far this seems to be the one. However, there are a few items that are annoying and I would change or add. I wish there were more adjustable or addable tines. We have thin glasses and when placed on the middle shelf and you pull out or close the shelf they topple all over. It would be nice to have adjustable holders to support different items. These aren't wine classes with a stem but those wine glass holders are usually useless anyway. Same goes for the bottom drawer. Install more movable parts for all the different size dishes and supply them for us to add.

I love my new Bosch dishwasher. It gets my dishes clean, it is very quiet, and I love how the door opens automatically at the end of the cycle to allow steam to dissipate and helps with drying process. The only thing I have been unhappy with is the small silverware container. Other than that, I love my Bosch!!

Previous Incomplete review? After a week was disappointed in the 500. Door won't open after clycle complete (seems to me a dumb solution for moisture problem) and as noisy as my old Jennier. Both my kids have the 800 series and are happy. I did not realize how completely different the 500 was. Am willing to trade up if possible.

We recently bought a 500 Series Dishwasher. It is quiet and does a great job washing the dishes - even pots and pans. 100 times better than the Jenn Air we used to have. Our only complaint is that we struggle to load it. We love the bonus rack for silverware. The top rack gets filled quickly with glasses and bowls. Since we generally wash handwash our pots and pans, we often don't have enough to fill the bottom rack when we need to run a load. When we do choose to load our pots and pans there is no issue, but I wish there were more flexibility with the bottom rack so we could more easily load bowls there. Overall a great washer! So happy with our purchase!

Top control panel is inconsistently working (but a technician is coming to see what's going on). The dishwasher cleans fantastically. Getting used to the different racks and best way to load. Sometimes "sticks" a little when pulling out the top and middle racks, but might be to have the option to partially open before fully opening.

This is my first Bosch. Replacing an 8 year old GE Profile (which replaced a 17 year old GE Profile). I purchased the Bosch based on recommendations from three friends and one appliance repair person. It was a few hundred dollars more than the GE Profile I compared it to. Ultimately, I decided to go with Bosch because of the high reliability ratings from Consumer Reports. The dishwasher does an excellent job cleaning; only once or twice have I had a single item not get 100% clean. It dries pretty well; I don't use a lot of plastics but as far as most other things, there is usually only residual water if a dish was not properly placed to allow for runoff. The dishwasher is very quiet although not silent like my previous one. This is my first dishwasher with a third rack. Silverware and utensils placed in the third rack get very clean; I think cleaner than a utensil basket on the bottom rack. There are things I preferred in my old dishwasher however. I felt like I could get a lot more items in my old dishwasher. The third rack prevents taller items (water bottles and wine glasses) from being placed in the second rack unless you drop the second rack down. When you do so, however, regular dinner plates on the bottom rack then hit the washing arm above them (it's attached to the underside of the second rack). Also, the provided wine glass holders that attach to wine glass stems do not fit my wine glass stems so they are useless to me (and I haven't seen how I can remove them). I use wine glasses fairly often so I feel like I'll have to figure out another solution for stem security, lower the second rack, and not wash dinner plates in the same load. That is unfortunate. At this price, I would also expect the second rack to have adjustable tines; mine does not. The bottom rack holds a lot of plates, more than I would load before running the dishwasher. So that's great if you use a lot of plates rather than a lot of bowls. If more of the bottom rack's tines were adjustable, I could get more larger items to fit. Just a portion of this dishwasher's bottom rack tines are adjustable. I have read on user forums that users feel the dishwasher develops odors due to residual water remaining (in the pump? Filter?); I haven't noticed that yet but I do leave the dishwasher door open at night. You really can't leave it ajar during the day because it is too far ajar to not be in your way. The app is useful for receiving messages about refilling the rinse aid, the cycle is complete, etc. Overall, I am reasonably happy with this purchase and if it turns out to be reliable for many years, then it is worth a few of these inconveniences. If it turns out to have a shorter life (like almost anything you purchase these days), then I may go back to GE to save money.

This is our second Bosch dishwasher. The first one lasted 18 years and was actually still working but the door hinges had given out. Instead of paying for the repair we dicided to upgrade to a new unit. This dishwasher looks great and works perfectly so far. My only complaint is that it does not fit very many wine glasses and the holders don't fit the thickness of my stemware. It's not a big deal but that could be improved in the design. This unit also fits well in the cavety of my kitchen cabinets which are only 24" deep. A lot of other dishwasher would stick out too much and be unsightly. I hope this dishwasher will last as long as my previous one. Also Best Buy delivery and installation was easy to schedule. I am happy with the purchase

This December my husband and I finally pulled the trigger and purchased a new dishwasher. The Maytag we inherited when we bought the house 14 years ago was still going strong and cleaned amazingly well but the racks were falling apart and I was worried it would die and leave us stranded. Enter the new Bosch. I did some pretty significant research and this was what I chose. Overall I love it and am very pleased. It cleans incredibly well and that was my biggest concern. Most days I run the quickwash and rarely do I have things that do not come clean. The outside is onobtrusive and I'm glad I made the decision to go with a towel bar. I don't think I can maybe fit as many items in it compared to the old Maytag but I being as creative as possible to make the most of the space and rack layout. All in all no regrets with this dishwasher

I did buy Bosch 500 series to replace my current whirlpool one that started to leak after 3 years. I chose Bosch based on good reputation and durability but still have to prove it on long run. The dishwasher is quite and cleans dishes very good. Drying is excellent as well. Shape looks classic and nothing fancy. Very quite.
I had bad experience with previous appliances regardless of their brand or price that works great for a while with problems starting 3-4 years later.
