Faulty, dishwasher machine and horrible warranty s

I purchased a dishwasher machine in May 2025. By December, the machine stopped working. I called warranty service and scheduled technicians visit. Technician has come within two weeks of my call, inspected the machine, and said that he will order the part. The next visit, was from a different technician, who came with that part and installed it. At that point of time, my dish dishwashing machine did not work for a month and my home was deprived of dishwashing machine. The last technician said that I need to replace a supply tube, but he did not have one with him. After he left, I have pulled out a plumber and replaced the intake tube. After the machine was connected, it still did not work. I called warrant service and was told that the next available technicians visit is in three weeks. By this time now I'm without a dishwasher, covered under manufacturers warranty, for almost 2 months while your warrant to service says that they're doing the best they can and nothing else can be done. Most horrible service I have ever experienced in my life. If any of my friends ever ask my opinion about the dishwasher, you know what I'm going to say.

The machine does well with getting the dishes clean, however, it's aweful at drying. Many of the dishes are still dripping when I open it. Also, the bottom rack doesn't stay set when pulling the rack in or out causing me to have to use two hands to reset it.

Extra drying time & okay for infrequent users

The "extra dry" cycle must be used on this machine to get dishes dry. That still won't work on plastic containers, but that's no different from other machines I've had. It helps to crack the door open after the cycle has run to air out any plasticware. I normally don't run the machine more than once a week, so after every cycle I have to use a sponge to soak the water up that's left in the filter chamber at the bottom of the machine. If I don't do this, there is a strong unpleasant odor. From reading other reviews, this is normal for this machine. I would call that unacceptable for such a high end product, but it wouldn't be a problem for people who run it at least every other day.

Noise level gets a lot of press but it is not an issue with this dishwasher. You can stand next to it while it is running and have a conversation, in the next room you have to listen for it to hear it and two room away you can't even hear it. It is nice to have the third rack. We put all of our silver ware up there and don't even use the old silverware holder which frees up more room below. It cleans fine and we leave it open for a little while, while the dishes drip dry. The control panel is easy to use. This one actually got higher ratings than some of the up scale categories. We run it once a day and have done so for six months with no problems

Do Not Buy This Bosch Dishwasher

I bought a Bosch dishwasher because I thought it was top of the line. I have had an issue with the knives coming out of the dishwasher with black stuff all over them that you have to scrub off with Comet or an abrasive cleaner. I contacted the Bosch service people and they came out and saw the knives and told me I needed to use a Rinse Aid or they knives would look like this and I would need to clean the knives before putting them in the dishwasher. I told them I never put them in there with anything other than mayonnaise or butter remnants - never with globs of anything on them. I was told I needed to get all of the mayo/butter off the knives before putting them in the dishwasher. They said they would do nothing about the problem even though I have only had the dishwasher for 4 months. They said it was my fault for not wiping them off completely before loading them. I told them that was why I had a dishwasher - so IT would wash the dishes. I also told them I had not had this problem until I bought this Bosch dishwasher. So now I am stuck with a dishwasher that will not clean my knives unless I wash them first. I am NOT a happy Bosch owner.

This is our 2nd Bosch dishwasher. We moved to a new to us house and the first thing I did was to replace the washer with the Bosch. The washer that was in the house was newer, but loud. Very loud I think. The Bosch is quiet, very quiet. I think next to the performance in dish washing, the quiet operation is its best characteristic. For me this washer will always be what is in our home bar none.

We replaced our 12 year old Bosch dishwasher that we loved but the coating on the racks cracked and the metal Underneath rusted, we purchased the Bosch 100 Premium thinking it would be the the same Bosch hi quality, But it is Not, the first thing we noticed was how flimsy the door is, the controls are difficult to use and the racks are poorly designed, I can't figure out any good way to load dish ware, the bottom rack spacing is to wide, the dishes never dry good, I thought I would like the top silverware rack but now I've realized there slow to load and just a pain. Overall the unit falls short of my expectations for a Bosch, we've only had it 6 months and I'm ready to trash it.

My previous Bosch dishwasher lasted 18 years, so when it was time for a new machine, I only considered the BOSCH brand. I am very pleased with the new model I recently purchased. My favorite feature is the new third rack for utensils and flatware. What a great idea! All my dishes come out sparkling and clean, and the dishwasher is even more quiet than my previous Bosch. I love the simple door design and the hidden controls. Once again, Bosch, you do NOT disappoint. I am a happy customer!

I have been disappointed with my new dishwasher. I replaced by previous Bosch dishwasher, which I thought was 5 star excellent, with this one. In some cases it does not clean the dishes as well using the normal setting. It never drys the dishes as well even though I have tried various settings so do a better job. I like the extra small rack on the top. However, I am not able to load some of the larger items on the bottom rack like I did before. I have looked at the videos and read articles to try to solve these problems, but was unable to alleviate them.

After 5 yr my GE DW died (for the 3rd time) it was time for a new companies product. Lots of time looking in multiple places for reviews, and a family member's experience, we bought the Bosch. They had a range of models, there seemed to be a sweet spot of price and features. Now after some months of usage I can say it was a Great buy. the washing action is markedly better then the high end GE. I tried the harder cleaning the GE was a bit short in and it was near perfect. It does take a bit more time. If you open as soon as the DW stops, it quite wet still, but if left for a while (like overnight) the dishs are much dryer. In all , longer wait but MUCH better staking orginazation (I love the 3rd shelf for silverware CON: time to dry - too few of the wider dish racks - tight spacing rack hard to get large (serving) bowls to fit (though seems not in an issue in the cleaning bowls that are a stacked ) In all - DO not heasate to aquire this one

It weren't for that little red light shining on the floor, I'd never know it was on. Quiet is its middle name. But more importantly, it does an excellent job with a wide variety of dishes and dirty pots and pans. More intriguingly, it's got all sorts of little devices that allow maximum flexibility in utensil placement. This is the new, unobtrusive lil partner I have that takes all the work out of getting those dirty dishes done!

My Bosch dishwasher is incredibly versatile with it's adjustable shelves. I love the flatware drawer and how each utensil is perfectly cleaned. The filter is very easy to clean also. I've had it for several months now and love it. I'm not techy, so the original setup took me a minute but that was easily done as well. I highly recommend Bosch dishwashers.

Yhe good: It is very quiet, and it cleans the dishes if you don't overload it. The bad: Doesn't dry as well as they claim. The top (third) rack is a nice idea but it has no source of spray from the bottom. I have found food particles remaining in bottom-facing items on the top rack. We removed the top rack and ordered an additional silverware basket because the one supplied is inadequate without the top rack. The arrangement of the tines in the bottom rack makes it hard to place some bowls and pots. The tines are all very close together, which is fine if washing 20 flat plates but awkward for many items. Ok for the price but not outstanding.
