I bought a new Bosch dishwasher to replace an old Bosch dishwasher that had provided very good service for the last 26 years. The new one is proving to work at least as well. Unfortunately it has a silverware basket that is too small, only half the size as the one I have seen on similar dishwashers.

Design Improvements needed: 1)The top control button panel is not accessable by fingertouch when a countertop is above the dishwasher.
2) Instruction manual for description of operation is minimal at best. More info is needed on how to reprogram the dishwasher if it is opened shortly (20-20 seconds) to add an item or two, and then reset after pressing the start and closing the door (for example when another dish or two is to be added). It is hard to then reset and restart with a program change.
3) The dishwasher is very quiet, we like that very much.
4) It does not vent steam around the top of the wooden panel we have attached on a panel ready model, and thus does not warp joints on the panel or cause damage to the wood.... this is good.

This is a replacement for my last Bosch dishwasher that lasted 20 years. Cleans the dishes great. Love the third rack for silverware. Here's to hoping this one has the same resilience as the last. Great product.

Overall the dishwasher is a good buy for the price and features. The 300 is the basic model and compared to other brands you get a better product in my opinion. The biggest drawback is how poorly it dries the dishes.

We have purchased two previous Bosch dishwashers that are still going strong. This third one is our first with a customizable panel to match our cabinets; it was very easy for our contractor to work with. I love how much space this dishwasher offers! With our growing family and crazy schedule it allows for us to load the dishwasher all day long, while only having to run once a day or even every other. The best part - it can send you a nofitication once it's completed! Can't say enough good things about this dishwasher!

Unit leaked after 2nd week in use. Caused drywall and cabinets to mold. Repair came to look and said they ordered parts.. weeks later I'm still dealing with this leaking dishwasher

Dishwasher does what its name describes: washes dishes. my only knock on it is that it doesn't dry the dishes very well. even when the extra dry is pressed, dishes come out very wet, requiring a towel to do the job. Otherwise seems like a good machine.

Well, my Bosch Seties 300 died on Christmas Eve. We had to go buy a new one, same series for sure!! Salesman made it clear, that we should not expect our new one to last as long as the old one did, without any repairs, it lasted 24 years!!!! We are a family of five and host many many family functions. We only hope the new one is as good!

I love the rack arrangement and how quiet the dishwasher is. Dishes are sparkling clean, even using speed cycle. The downside for me was learning to operate it. After speaking to a Bosch tech,who was very nice, I think I understand it. She did have to perform a reset on it. Overall, I'm pleased.

Bought on reputation but required parts replacement within 2 weeks. Flooded basement. Bosch took another 2 weeks before fixed. Running OK last 2 weeks but lets see. Nota s quiet as hoped.

I bought this product a year before it was installed, because I was buying for a large remodel. About four months after actually starting to use the product, the door started basically falling down when opened. At first it appeared to be the plastic and rope threads that often break on these doors, but upon opening it was clear that a large amount of the door weight is being supported by a flimsy plastic hinge. That item is part of a large piece of plastic that makes up the bottom of the dishwasher. Because that part had broken off, there is no smaller part to repair. If you make a service call and have this repaired it's basically the cost of the dishwasher itself. Keep in mind this small plastic part is supposed to be able to hold the weight of the attached fascade.
Since the item was purchased more than a year before use, the waranty was already gone. No amount of explaining, no amount of photos coud get any help from support other than to be told that we would need to pay over $100 just to get someone out who would either say it couldn't be fixed or charge many hundreds to replace this part.
In the end we just live we a door destroying our knees every time we open it.
Functionally pretty pleased with the washer itself, but I am not hopeful for the longevity considering the lack of quality and the poor support.

This is a replacement for my old Bosch dishwasher that failed after 17 years. The new one has more space for plates due to the third tray for flatware. I prefer the fast 60 minute cycle not the auto cycle which takes twice as long. And yes, it is very quiet.

I have the same dishwasher in another home that is 7 years old. It dries after each wash. This new dishwasher in my other home does not dry after each wash. The inside stays wet for a long time. A Bosch rep said that is normal but I don't think that is since my other dishwasher dries. Having a constantly wet dishwasher inside breeds smell and mildew and I don't think it should be that way. I'm unhappy with this purchase.

Love this dishwasher! We have an open concept kitchen/family room and so it is important to have a quiet dishwasher. This one is super quiet and hardly heard in the larger room. The controls are super easy and it even has a light that shines on the floor showing that the dishwasher is running. I love that. I really like the panel ready front where I was able to apply a cupboard panel that matches exactly to the other lower cupboards. It blends so nicely with my other cabinets. Everyone who sees it loves how it is hidden amongst the cabinets. What a great purchase!

After many failed attempts via supposed qualified companies (Best Buy/Costco) we finally were able to have this unit installed and our old one hauled away. We are very pleased with the cleaning of our dishes etc. and the low noise emitted from this dishwasher. The racks provide more than enough space for our needs. We did have to pay more for this panel ready unit and for installation. But finally our kitchen area is complete again.

Good looking unit that accepts a front panel and is quiet and effective. We particularly like the little red light that shines on the floor when the unit is running so that we don't accidentally open it up while in the middle of a cycle-it's that quiet!

I had a Bosch dishwasher for 23 years, never had any problems with it. It just stopped, one of the motors/pumps went. I totally understand it. So I purchased a replacement, 300 series. Nothing but problems, 1st., dose not clean as well as previous machine. 2nd., problems with it not working at all now, control panel lights up like a Christmas tree. 3rd., no tech support on weekends....really. What a mistake it was to make this purchase.

I bought Bosch dishwasher 300-series (Custom panel) in Feb 2025, after our previous Bosch dishwasher 800-series (Custom panel, purchased on in October 2021) start failing and breaking almost every week (this started at the end of December 2024) and completely stopped working in February 2025, which contradicts regular 10 year lifespan for dishwasher and especially such brand as Bosch.
The new 300 series dishwasher was delivered mid-March 2025. It was installed, but it started leaking next day. I opened a case with Bosch service to get it diagnosed. After Bosch technician confirmed the unit is not repairable, Bosch ordered a replacement unit which was delivered and installed in May 2025. But a day later it started leaking. I called Bosch same day and new service visit was scheduled. A Bosch technician came and confirmed a water pump leaking. It took Bosch another week to finally fix the issue.

I am not impressed with this dishwasher. It is the third Bosch I have owned and this is my least favorite.
Issues:
1. The long lag after pushing the power/reset button combined with a very sensitive touch pad means I often push it a second time turning it off.
2. I never could get the Wifi connection to work. I don't see much value in that feature so I'm not too upset.
3. I prefer the design of the lower rack better in the previous two generations. The flip tines work better next to the silverware basket since I typically put the smallest plates in the narrowest tines.
4. The included silverware basket is inferior to the
Bosch 00675794 which I had in my old dishwasher. Thankfully it also fits in this one.
5. Dishwasher stopped working within 30 days. Unplug/plug would cause all the lights to display for 10 seconds and then all turn off and dishwasher does not respond.

Overall the Bosch 300 is a solid product that delivers value at a medium price point. Cleans well and dries OK. The wireless feature is useful and gives a notification when the cycle is complete. I have been cracking the door open when I get the notification to release the steam and it seems to dry more effectively that way.

It is quiet, The silverware shelf on top is a great feature, and it cleans dishes to be spotless. The smart connectivity also helpful since I get a notification on my phone when the load is completed. Also the passive drying feature is great and works surprisingly well!

This unit doesnt dry dishes to my expectations. When the door is opened, even after using the extrended dry funtion, there is water everywhere inside the unit.
The middle washer arm, located under the middle rack, still contains water and it spills out all over the dishes in the bottom rack. So, if you want to grab something quick from the middle rack and empty the bottom rack later, everything on the bottom gets soaked again (more thanit already is from not drying completely).
