The wall hood is excellent quality, quiet, and works well with home connect. Filters are sturdy and easy to clean. You get notified through Home Connect when filters require cleaning. The higher CFMs clear out smoke and odors quickly requiring less time to keep in operation. Highly recommend this product.

Lighting system failed...Bosch didn't care!

Shortly after install, the hood lighting on the right started blinking then failed. Bosch didn't care that it was still new and nothing that we could have possibly done would have damaged the interior electric works. Hugely disappointed in Bosch, repair will cost hundreds :((( We invested in 3 major appliances by Bosch (the refreshment center fridge is great; the oven has a light only on one side, awkward to see cooking food).

Atrociously loud. Seriously, I feel like I got scammed out of $1500, and what can I do, sell it? Can't even listen to music while cooking on the lowest setting, and anything above that sounds like a jet engine. Moves very little air on "1" as well. Stay away at all costs. Months of remodeling only to end up with this noisy monstrosity in the middle of my kitchen. Sigh.

My kitchen has limited ventilation which convinced me to buy the better wall hood which works great. I wish this item had a lower and quieter level for very light cooking or for when the oven is being used. The lights could of been brighter

Ventilation hood. Lights barely light ip

Love the looks and power of the ventilation hood. The led lights are super dim. There doesn't seem to be any difference between the brightness when turned on or dimmed. Disappointed as it doesn't hardly illuminate the cooktop. Wondering if the unit is defective or if it's possible to replace led bulbs with brighter bulb.

Beautiful, but extremely noisy

In the last year, I purchased all new Bosch kitchen appliances, and have been pleased with each except for this last product. When the vent is on, I cannot hear anything unless up close to the speaker. I called Bosch and they sent a service person out who said the vent is meant to be this noisy. For a company that makes quiet appliances, I still think there is something wrong with my vent. If I keep it on the lowest of the three settings, the quiestest, the odors aren't necessarily vented out. On the highest setting, the sound is awful!
